Steel stabilising end posts for vineyards - end posts

Excellent hold and stability for very long rows

To be used as an end post, it is the ideal solution for longer rows. The end posts are available with slots or side holes that allow the insertion of rollers for tensioning wires.

The material used is steel, with various thickness in the following types:

  • hot dip galvanised steel: the solution with the highest standard of resistance to corrosion both above and below the ground
  • Cor-ten steel: contains alloy elements such as copper, chromium, phosphorus, nickel, sulphur, manganese and silicon which give it excellent mechanical properties as well as a high resistance to corrosion
  • Sendzimir galvanised steel: a type of pre-galvanised steel which is coated in metal using a continuous galvanising process by means of immersion (Sendzimir process). It has a good degree of resistance to corrosion and atmospheric agents.
Tradition and innovation are intertwined at Polimetal:modern vine-growing and ancient customs are just two of the aspects we consider for producing innovative materials because it is by their installation and the use of appropriate accessories that the yield of vineyards is improved. Posts are to vines as trunks are to branches; that is why we have dedicated particular attention to their strength, durability and stability.
